VYPE DFW girls high school soccer best in country?

Is it safe to say that North Texas is home to the nation's best girls high school soccer? It’s an argument supported by this week’s ESPNHS Powerade Fab 50 National Rankings. Six VYPE DFW area girls teams rank among the top eight teams. Nine teams – more than half – are ranked among the top 16. Twelve teams among top 39.

More evidence of the area's consistent high level of player are the 16 area teams that have won 5A or 4A girls UIL state championships in the last 10 years. Plus, Ursuline has won 22 straight private school state titles.
