Home » Gymnastics NewsArea Olympic gymnastic hopefuls to compete in FriscoFebruary 17, 2011 By Tim Polzer of VYPE MAGAZINE - Collin CountyElite area gymnasts from area high schools, middle schools and elementary schools will compete in the 2011 World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) Classic and U.S. National Elite Qualifier in Frisco this weekend. Gymnasts will include contenders for 2012 and 2016 Olympic teams from the U.S., Australia, Canada, France, Mexico, New Zealand and Russia. More than 100 clubs and national teams will participate beginning Saturday morning at the Dr. Pepper Center in Frisco.
