FOOTBALL

McKinney North 31, Greenville 6

The Bulldogs rushed for 270 yards as a team, averaging almost 10 yards per carry. Ronald Jones ran for 121 yards and two touchdowns on just eight carries. Justin Jones also eclipsed 100 yards, with 107 yards and a touchdown on 15 attempts. Greg Smith averaged almost 23 yards on his two carries. Gabe Constintine had four receptions for 40 yards.

North (2-6, 2-3) next plays at Wylie East, Friday at 7:30 p.m.



Plano West 64, McKinney 36

Quarterback Robert Somborn passed for 405 yards and three touchdowns. Connor Fuentes was one of three McKinney receivers with touchdown catches. Fuentes had six receptions for 124 yards. Jonathan Shannon had six catches for 101 yards. Dalon Willis had a 45-yard touchdown reception. Tommy Candela rushed for 81 yards on 10 carries and had a 46-yards touchdown catch. Matt Reynolds scored a 1-yard touchdown.

McKinney (5-3, 2-1) next plays Allen at Ron Poe Stadium, Friday at 7:30 p.m.



Allen 34, McKinney Boyd 7

Slater Brown caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from Curtis Ladd. Brown finished with three receptions for 44 yards. Bryan Driskell rushed for 29 yards and had two catches for 19 yards.

Boyd (5-3, 2-1) next plays Plano East at Kimbrough Stadium, Friday at 7:30 p.m.



Frisco Legacy 17, McKinney Christian 10

Caleb Wyson opened the game with a 66-yard kickoff return and later kicked a 24-yard field goal.

McKinney Christian (3-5, 0-2) next plays Gainesville State School, Friday at 7:30 p.m.
