FOOTBALL

McKinney Boyd 44, Rockwall 7

Senior running back Bryan Driskell rushed for 221 yards, scored three touchdowns and was named homecoming king. Driskell scored touchdowns on runs included 73 and 33 yards, and on a 62-yard punt return.

Boyd (2-2) next plays at Lewisville, Friday at 7:30 p.m.

McKinney 41, North Garland 18

Quarterback Robert Somborn completed 20 of 29 passes for 310 yards and four touchdowns. Receiver Connor Fuentes had nine coaches for 219 yards and two touchdowns.

McKinney (4-0) next plays Denton Ryan at Ron Poe Stadium, Friday at 7 p.m.

FW Temple Christian 28, McKinney Christian 23

Connor Doyle rushed 20 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

McKinney Christian next plays HSAA, Friday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
