McKinney's Project Graduation: Party On Garth!

Tonight, up to 1400 newly graduated students from McKinney High Schools are expected to attend the 9th Annual Project Graduation. These former seniors can celebrate their accomplishments and have fun at an all-night event that has proven to be safe.

In fact since 2005, no graduate has been involved in a road incident on graduation night.  The program is 100% funded by local businesses and organized and managed by volunteers, with only paramedics who are on the premises being paid.

The event is free and graduates receive "play money" which can be used for raffles and casino style games. Drawings for cash prizes begin at 12:30a and other prizes such as bicycle, cameras, restaurant and gas cards jewelry and more will also be won by these lucky former high school students.

And there's a huge Grand Prize! Nissan of McKinney/McKinney Buick GMC has donated a car for the last 6 years, and is one of the events title sponsors.
