Mac McGuire: Sports Illustrated's 'Faces in the Crowd'

Mac McGuire's amazing senior year has garnered national notice. McGuire's feats at Southlake Carroll have earned him a "Faces in the Crowd" sectio of this week's Sports Illustrated magazine.

Look for McGuire to receive even more accolades in the coming weeks.

Mac, a senior at Southlake Carrol High, ran a 47.80- second anchor leg in the 4 x 400 to lead his relay team to the Class 5A title. In soccer he scored a team-high 37 goals in helping the Dragons win the state title and national No. 1 ranking. He also was named all-state as a kicker for the football team. Mac will play soccer at Boston Univeristy next year.
