No. 1 Manatee (Bradenton, Fla.) was beaten by unranked St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), 35-18, Friday in a Florida Class 7A state semifinal. Aquinas (12-2), a six-time state champion, will play Tallahassee Lincoln for the Class 7A crown next Friday at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. Here are the last rankings. One of the top-5 teams -- No. 2 John Curtis (River Ridge, La.), No. 3 Katy (Texas), No. 4 DeSoto (Texas) and No. 5 Bellevue (Wash.) could ascend to No. 1 in new rankings to be released Tuesday. These teams play Saturday playoff games, with the exception of Bellevue which has completed its season.
