Seniors Are Running the Town

Each year VHS conducts its own election for town officials.  The seniors choose an office and conduct a campaign.  As election day draws near, the seniors give speeches.  After the election, the candidates are required to clear the hallway of their campaign posters.  

For one day, the Wednesday of the Sweet Potato Festival, the elected senior officials run the town.  This year's officials are as follows:

Mayor: Marc

Board of Aldermen: Shavon, Asha, Kaytlynn, Keuntray, and Brianna

Judge: Desaray

City Clerk: Ashley

City Attorney: Jenna

Police Chief: Aaron

Fire Chief: Carleigh

Maintenance Supervisor: Cheyanne
