Union Soccer Wins 2012 Four Rivers Conference Championship

On Wednesday night, the Union Lady Cats (8-0, 19-2)  defeated rival Pacific to go undefeated in conference play en route to the team’s eighth consecutive Four Rivers Conference Championship.  

Scoring goals in the contest were Bethany Coons and Alyssa Coons. 

Earning the assists were Kierra Mundt and Kayla Thornton.

Union travels to 2011 Missouri State Quarterfinalist Farmington (14-6) this evening to play for the Pacific Tournament Championship in their last regular season game of the season.

NOTES:

Union is ranked in the top 10 in the Missouri State Coaches Poll and #6 in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Small Schools Girls Soccer Rankings.

Union last reached the championship game of the Pacific Tournament in 2010.
