Blake Hulsey had a hand in all seven of Union’s touchdowns to lead his team to a 49-21 Four Rivers Conference victory Friday at St. Clair High School.
Hulsey, the Wildcats’ junior quarterback, threw four touchdown passes and rushed for three more as Union improved to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the FRC.
One of Hulsey’s four touchdown passes was a 98-yard strike to Jake Siddens early in the fourth quarter, which put the game away.
Siddens had two touchdown catches for Union.
St. Clair (2-3, 1-2) got two touchdowns from Alex Miller, including an 80-yard kickoff return for a score in the second quarter.
The Wildcats held a 12-0 lead after one quarter on a pair of touchdown passes from Hulsey to Logan Bellamy for 12 yards and to Siddens for 41 yards.
St. Clair outscored Union 21-16 in a high-scoring second quarter.
The Bulldogs got on the scoreboard on a five-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Collin Scott to Alex Miller, making the score 12-7.
