Home » Baseball NewsWildcats End Season with Loss to Parkway SouthJune 12, 2012 Union Wildcat BaseballThe Union Wildcats ended the 2012 season with a first round loss in the Class 4 District 4 tournament to Parkway South. The final score was 12-2 in 6 innings. Parkway South was the eventual district winner, as they defeated Pacific and Lafayette to advance to the state playoffs. Before district play began, UHS ended their regular season on a high note, defeating North County by a score of 14-0. Austin Bentlage and Ashton Dehn combined for the shutout, striking out 14 Raider hitters between them. The Wildcats ended the season with a 9-13 record, 3rd place in the 4 Rivers Conference with a 4-3 record.
