Base: Indians take two from Lebanon

Twin Lakes exploded for four runs in the sixth inning to overcome a 2-1 deficit and hung on for a 5-4 victory over Lebanon April 2. The Indians scored their five markers on a total of seven hits. The Tigers had five hits in plating their four runs.


The hitting hero for Twin Lakes was Brian Moore who went 3 for 3 and drove in two runs. Jordan Crabb went the distance to pick up the win for the Indians. He struck out eight along the way. Jacob Shike took the loss for Lebanon despite striking out seven.


Twin Lakes then scored in five of the seven innings in the second game to complete the doubleheader sweep, 9-2. Taylor Elizalde went five and a third innings surrendering just two runs on four hits to get the mound win.
