GBB: Indians fall in second round o0f Sectional

Twin Lakes High SchoolTwinLakesended its season with a second round sectional loss to Western February 8. The state ranked Panthers used a suffocating defense in registering the 42-21 victory. The Indians ended the campaign with a slate of 12-11.
TL opened tournament play by edging a determined Maconaquah squad 47-46. Chloe McAchren led the way with an impressive double-double of 22 points and a whopping 14 rebounds. Courtney Bowsman added 12 points in the triumph.
Versus Western, McAchren again led the way. She was the only double figure scorer as she netted 10 points in the contest. The Panthers completely stifled theTwinLakesoffense in the first quarter, building a 10-0 lead after eight minutes. The Indians fought back by outscoring Western 16-14 in the second quarter to trail only 24-16 at intermission. Western then ended all suspense by outscoring TL 8-1 in the deciding third stanza.
