BB: Indians split pair of weekend games

Twin Lakes High SchoolTwinLakessplit a pair of games January 11-12, defeating Carroll on the road by a count of 54-45 but falling at home to Tipton 60-47. Solid defense continued to be the calling card of the Indians. Carroll was the third straight opponent to be held to 45 or fewer points. Tipton broke the string, but the 12-1 Blue Devils were held well below their season average in points. The weekend action leaves TL at 7-5 on the campaign.
The locals used a huge third quarter to break open the Carroll contest.TwinLakestrailed 25-21 at intermission, but blasted the Cougars 21-7 in that fateful third stanza. Cameron Bennington led the way with a game high 23 points. Tyler Reddington added 10 markers to the cause.
Tipton broke open a very close game by outscoring the Indians 22-12 in the fourth quarter. The loss spoiled another 20 point performance byBennington. Cody Deboy added 10 points against the Blue Devils.
