Twin Lakes sweeps volleyball sectional opener

Twin Lakes High SchoolChayse Lehocky and Morgan Gutwein combined for 21 kills to lead Twin Lakes to a 25-21, 25-11, 25-17 victory over Peru in the opening match of the Class 3A Maconaquah volleyball sectional Tuesday night.
Lauhren Pickett also was a force on the front line for the Indians (22-11) with four blocks and five kills. Courtney Bowsman’s 11 digs led the passing attack, and Chloe McAchren set up the offense with 26 assists.
