Calendar/Schedule ToolHow to use the iHigh Calendar toolAfter many schools asked if iHigh offered any type of scheduling feature, the tech team went out and designed just that! The iHigh.com Calendar tool allows you to set up up a schedule of important upcoming school events - and you can have different calendars for each sport or activity! To access the tool just login as an administrator, go to your Website Tools section, and look for the "Schedule" section. The default setting places the Schedule at the bottom of the Right Column Module, but you can easily change the order in your "School Settings" menu.  Adding events to your calendarAdding events to the calendar is quick and simple. To get started, just click on the "View Full Calendar" link below the Calendar:  This will bring up a large version of the calendar for the current month:  For this example, we'll add a Football playoff game to the calendar for Friday, November 12th. Just click on the "Add" link on the 12th:  You will now see the "Add an Event for Campbell High School" entry form. First, we'll add the Event Title:  Next, we'll select the proper section for our event from the drop-down menu - this allows you to have different calendars for each sport or activity. In this case, obviously it's "Football".  Now we'll need to select the event's date - the default date will be the one we clicked the "Add" link on, so it will already be correct for our game:  Next up, we need to select the event's start time - our game begins at 7:30 p.m.:  If the event has a set length, such as a fund-raising dinner or a school fair, you can set an Ending time for the event as well. Since our game could go into overtime (or beyond!), we'll leave the optional Ending time blank.  Finally, we'll enter a brief description for our game:  Now that we have entered our event's information, we'll just need to click on the "Save" button:  The event has now been entered on your school's overall calendar, as well as on the Football calendar. You will now see the event schedule on the 12th, as well as underneath the calendar month:  Returning to your school's home page, you will now see the 12th is highlighted in the calendar, and the game will be listed just below the calendar month:  If you click on your school's Football page, you will see the event in the Football Calendar as well:  As you enter more events into the tool, the calendar on your home page will display the next five scheduled events for that month, regardless of the sport/activity:  New iHigh Tutorials
