Home » Wrestling NewsGolden Hawks win Bull City ClassicDecember 13, 2011 Tri-Nine Conference![]() By Nick Jeffreys, Correspondent DURHAM – Without one of its top wrestlers in the 285-pound class, Holly Springs coach Brandon Inge knew the other weight classes needed to excel at the Bull Durham Holiday Classic. And he left the tournament with “some real surprises.” The Hawks earned points in 12 out of the 14 classes en route to the team championship on Saturday at Jordan High School. Holly Springs finished with 248 points, followed by Panther Creek with 243 points and the host, Jordan, with 189.5 points. “I’m really proud of our guys,” Inge said. “Along with Panther Creek, we really pulled away. I’m glad we were able to pull it out.” Matt Hannah at 120, Javon Johnson at 132 and Austin Galati at 160 each received wins and helped lead the Hawks to the team championship.
