The Falcons got off to the right kind of start with a 65-26 romp over visiting Tri-Nine opponent Athens Drive on Friday night. Green Hope, now winners of their last 39 conference games (including the previous two conference tournaments) took full advantage of a Jaguars team that was missing three players due to injury. With only seven healthy players to choose from, Athens was unable to keep pace with a Falcons team that received scoring contributions from eight different players. “You try to keep the ball out of (Green Hope’s Kristen) Gaffney’s hands as much as you can and Ashley Williams is really good as well,” Athens coach Patrick Daly said. “You just try to limit them and hopefully somebody else tries to beat you. It’s a tough task to try to do it with seven [players], but we fought hard.” To read rest of story, click here - Green Hope blows by undermanned Jags
