Some might contend that Green Hope has been ready for the last three years, but Collins knows his Falcons have never rested on their laurels. That mentality led to an easy state title Saturday, making it the third straight year Green Hope was won the 4A girls' state championship. Green Hope scored just 37 points to easily defeat the field at Beeson Park in Kernersville. The next closest team was Charlotte's Ardrey Kell with 104 points. "We didn't take this year for granted at all," Collins said. "For us, it was not about the years before and defending anything, but going after it. It's a great group to work with every day."
