High School Athletic Association 4A dual-team title. Broughton completed another sweep as it defeated Green Hope 6-0 in the quarterfinals Tuesday on Broughton’s courts. By meeting their goal of clinching the team score in singles, the three doubles matches weren’t contested. Katie Kane won her match 6-1, 6-4 over Green Hope junior Audrey Channell at No. 1 singles. “It hasn’t been that easy – the scores are closer than they appear,” Kane said. “We have a really good lineup, and we’re big on cheering each other on.” To read rest of article, click link below:
