Home » Football NewsApex-Cary game to be featured againSeptember 9, 2011 Tri-Nine Conference The two schools have been doing battle - and not liking one another - since Cary High students were walking the halls of what is now the Cary Arts Center and Apex High students were hanging out by their lockers in what is now Apex Middle School. In an area where four new high schools have opened in the last 12 years, the Apex-Cary rivalry is the only one that can boast a longevity of more than one decade. The two schools have been playing football against one another since the 1950s. But this rivalry wasn't old enough to get a new twist last season. To read rest of story, click link below:
