CARY — The Middle Creek softball team is still perfect in conference play, and it showed why on Friday against visiting Green Hope.

After Green Hope cut a two-run lead in half with Falcons catcher Lexi Ross scoring on a Middle Creek throwing error, the Mustangs answered emphatically.

A three-RBI double by Middle Creek senior Emily Franks in the bottom of the fourth put the Mustangs up for good, as they went on to win 10-3.

Sophomore pitcher Kylie Majette allowed just five hits and one earned run for Middle Creek (5-1, 4-0)
