Cary girls soccer dominates Garner
March 14, 2012Tri-Nine Conference
GARNER - If Garner girls soccer coach David Corsbie has his way, the Trojans will not be joining the ranks of the member schools of the current Tri-Nine Conference in any upcoming NCHSAA realignment proposal.

The Imps’ Kelly Glendenning scored a pair of goals and Bria Johnson added another as the Imps gradually began to wear down a Trojan team that was playing one night after losing to Fuquay-Varina 5-3.
As the Trojans were out shot 18-2 for the game, Corsbie voiced concern over the Trojans’ offense, of lack thereof.
“Our midfield was nonexistent tonight,” said Corsbie. “We were giving up possession easily. We weren’t finding feet.
