ROXBORO -- The physical toll that Green Hope's boys' basketball team went through was apparent as the walking wounded exited the locker room after a chippy second-round playoff game at Person High on Wednesday night.
Falcons coach John Green said he had two players leave the game after possible concussions, another due to a gash on his chin and one more still a bit woozy after taking a hard screen that got the opposing player ejected.
For all of their battle scars, Green Hope still came up short with a 64-46 loss to Person in the 4A Mideast bracket.
