Home » Swimming & Diving NewsGreen Hope sweeps Tri-Nine swimmingJanuary 29, 2012 Tri-Nine Conference![]() CARY - While the crystal-clear waters inside the Triangle Aquatic Center remained that way throughout the Tri-Nine Conference swimming championships on Saturday afternoon, the leaderboard quickly turned Green, and never went back. Green Hope's boys and girls teams each won Tri-Nine titles, each doing so in wire-to-wire fashion. The Falcon boys repeated last year's conference title with a dominating total of 609.5 points -- almost 200 points higher than the next-closest team (Panther Creek). The Green Hope girls team maintained a lead throughout, though Panther Creek was down just eight points with two events to go. The Falcons ended the meet with 457 points while PC had 439.
