Lusk, who had a 65-yard touchdown strike to C.J. Savage called back in the first half, took full advantage of the opportunity and quickly led the Bulldogs of Coach Steve Smith to the end zone. He found Savage open again for a TD covering 42 yards, and then passed to Austin Brazier for the two-point conversion to pull Piedmont to within six with 5:53 to play.
The Bulldogs defense got the ball back late, but Dadeville’s defense rose to stop the final threat.
