    Winfield scored seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to erase a 3-2 Pisgah lead and rolled to a 12-3 win over the Eagles in the Class 3A state softball tournament finals at Lagoon Park
    Jordan Kate Easterwood slugged a home run and single and drove in four runs for the Lady Pirates, who went undefeated in four games to claim the school’s first fast-pitch state title.  Sam Riley added two hits and Taylor Guyton had one hit and scored three runs.
    Winning pitcher Madi Moore allowed 10 hits and struck out eight to get the win. Moore earned MVP honors pitching all four wins. She struck out 34 in the four wins.
    Also named to the All-Tourney team were Emma Atkinson and Micaela Beck. Beck had three home runs and five RBIs in a 7-0 win over White Plains in Winfield’s second win of the tourney.
   Megan Smith had three hits and two RBIs for Pisgah in the final game.
