AHSAA crown 2 State Champion today.

              In 1A we have a 3 time champion in Shoal Christian. In 4A Gunterville is your New State Champion.  St Luke won the first game yesterday 3 to 2. Today Shoals Christian Flex there Muscle with a 14 to 4 win in game 2 and in game 3 they won 12 to 2. Shoals Christian 3 peats this hard to do in any sport. They 6 senior and finish the season at 32 -22. St Luke didn't have a a senior so look for them to be hungry to get back to the State Championship game. St Luke will be a tough team next year.  Shoals Christian Graduate 6 senior off of this team. They had 4 juniors.

        Gunterville won it first state championship in baseball they where not rank in the last ASWA though dont mean that they didnt earn respect today. Gunterville won the 1st game yesterday 9 to 8. The second game they drop to Beauregard 14 to 0. The 3rd game they won 8 to 6 to win the State Championship.

    Today 5A and 6A came in to take stage in baseball there games was at Paterson Field. Spainsh Fort beat Southside Gadsen 9 to 0. Heith Brown was the winning pitcher he stuck out 3 allow 4 hits. Blaine Crain went 2 for 3 2rbi's. Andrew Ferrell went 1 for 3 walked and hbp he score 3 runs. Alex Pondick was the losing pitcher he went 5.1 inning and stuck out 3 allow 6 hits run score on him was 7 earn runs allos was 5. 

   In 6A Oxford won today they have never won a state championship in baseball. Winning pitcher was Tucker Simpson he went 7 inning allow 1 hit Struck out 12. Oxford in the 4th inning Will Davis double to score Jared Waits. Then in the 5th inning Trent Simpson homer to left field. The losing pithcer was Toby Thomas he allow 5 hits walk 1 and struck out 12 allow 2 runs he went 7 inning. Tomorrow the 5 A and 6 A game move to River Walk.
