In 2A, 4A, and 6A we got started today. 2A the one that got elimnated was Houston Academy and Goshen. Teams in the loser bracket is Leroy, American Christian Lexington, and Mobile Christian. The winner Bracket has Haton and Sumiton Christian. Hatton won it last 2 years. They have only allow 1 run in 2 games. Sumiton Christian has not allow a run in 2 games. This game will be played at 10:30am on field 2. Look for this to be a Classic matchup. The championship game will be this 2 teams and it could be a if in this contest.

In 4A teams that been elimnated is Wilson and Good Hope. Teams that are in the loser  bracket is Bibb Co., Headland, Alabama Christian, and Holtville. Iwas think these 2 would have match up in the winner bracket in the morning though they will match up in a  win or go home game. That will be a big game for these 2 programs since they are so close. The winner bracket is Hayleville and Cherokee County. Both have meet last week and Cherokee County won both times by 5 runs. So this could be a good match up.

In 6A teams that have been elimnated is Theodore and Baker. Both came out of the South Regional. Teams that are in the loser bracket is Hillcrest Tusc., Dothan, Central Phenix City, and Bob Jones. Teams in the winner bracket is Vestavia Hills and Sparkman. Vestavia Hills has never won a State Championship in Softball while Sparkman last State Championship came in 2009. In Program History they have won 2 State Championship. Looking for another great day of softball at Lagoon Park and the last day of the tournament.
