Marbury rallys late to win the 3rd week in a row.

For the 3rd week in a row Marbury has won game 3. Marbury started by beating Handley in game 3 for the area championship. Then they follow that up by beating Gordo the defending state champion. This week is was Sipsey turn to face the Bulldogs in game 3. Will Sipsey have luck? Are is these Dawgs special in game 3? Marbury found there self down by 4 runs in the 2nd inning. It look like the Dawgs 3 game streak was in jepordy though dont tell these kids that. They started a rally in the 3rd inning by scoring 1 run. Then Sipsey score a run to answer that run to make it 5 to 1 going to the bottom of the 3rd. Then Marbury scored a run to make it 5 to 2. Marbury would add another in the 5th inning. Then they add 2 runs in the 6th inning to make it 5 to 5 going to the 7th inning. Marbury and Sipsey stay lock at 5 apeice to the bottom of the 8th. Marbury first batter walk second batter walked then the next batter struck out then the next batter hit a long fly ball to left field and the left field cought the ball then pulling it out to throw it in he drop it the runners advance to 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs. The pitcher threw the first pitch for a strike the next pitch was wild and got by the catcher and Matt Hand stole home to win the ball game for Marbury to make it 6 to 5. Matt said he knew when that ball got by the catcher he had to score. He said that he was looking forward to next week to prove that this was no fluke. Coach Woffin said he was confindence in his ball team even when he went down by 4 runs that they would battle back. Coack Guy for Sipsey Valley said that ball club is one of the best ball clubs they have face. That they were going to make some noise late in this playoffs. Sipsey want lose nobody from this year club and this is there second year as a baseball team. They are very talented ball team. Coach Woffin said look for Sipsey to be a great ball team next year. Montevallo will be coming in to take on the Marbury Bulldogs on Friday at 4pm and 6:30pm and the if game will be at 2pm on Saturday.
