Home » Golf NewsWIC Golf MeetMay 8, 2012 Treynor Community SchoolTreynor showed up to play when it came to the Western Iowa Conference Golf Meet. Treynor won the meet by a small margin on Tuesday, May 3rd. Treynor shot a 351 winning over Audubon by 8 small strokes. Brad Bailey medaled first, once again, with an impressive score of 81. Two other members of the Treynor boys placed in the top 5. Cole Chapin and Chris Zimmerman both shot a 88, but Cole placed 3rd, breaking the tie on a handicap hole. The Girls Golf team placed second in the meet to the Missouri Valley Lady Reds. Missouri Valley shot a 396 and took the WIC title. Susie Bylund won medaled first in the meet with an 89. Treynor was led by Gracie Meyers, she shot a 97 and placed 5th in the meet. Meighan Ideus placed 7th with a 101, and Ashley Bailey placed 9th with a 102. The teams have two more regular season meets left before the post season.
