Interview with Coach Schuler

March 14, 2012
By Melanie Schuler of Treynor Community School

What did you enjoy with the season?

We had a young team, but they didn't stop working hard in practice. That's all I could ask of them. During wrestling meets, they kept fighting especially with the tough teams. They went out and gave it their best. Everyone had fun with it but they stayed competitive, that was the great part. We also had great leaders that set a great example for the younger guys to look up too.

What are the plans and hopes for next year?

We'll see who goes out next year and go from there. In practice, we'll be reviewing the basics and improve as much as we can. I hope that the guys will continue to try their hardest and have fun. In meets, we hope they'll stay competitive and fight as hard as they can.

Accomplishments from the season:

Trenton Geer getting his 100th win.

Dane Livingood and Trenton Geer making it to Districts.

Trenton Geer making it to state.
