Lady Spartans experience , The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

The lady spartans defeated the lady trojans of Aurora Central last friday night and hoped that the momentum gained would help as they headed to Highlands ranch , Co to take on the 5A fifth ranked lady jaguars of Rock Canyon high school. Having scouted Rock canyon in a game against denver east the coaching staff felt that they would have some success against the lady jaguars , however no scouting report could prepare the lady spartans for what they experienced. The lady jags started the game on a 11-1 run that had coach allen using a timeout within minutes of the start of the game. After play resumed the lady jags continued to apply pressure on the defensive end of the floor and score at will on the offensive side of the floor. A second half that had more energy and effort did not make the final margin any closer as the lady spartans loss by a score of 71-21. With two more games this week the staff and team hope to put the bad memory of this game behind them quickly.
