Titan have breakout 8-0 win against Provine

With a playoff spot assured, the Titans were able to relax a bit. That translated into an 8-0 romp over the Provine Rams. The match was held at Ridgeland due to wet weather conditions at Hughes Field.

The Titans would put eight goals on the board led by senior Martin Cobb’s pair in the first half.

Sophomore Somto Ngwudike scored his second of the year. Senior midfielder Caylon McCulloch and 8th grade forward Mohammed Ibrahim each nailed thier fourth.

Senior Chestavion Stovall scored his first career goal when he fought to steal a goal kick and then converted the breakaway.

Senior fullback Tucker Italiano scored his second on a free kick. Senior Ethan Callahan added his third in the last two games.

Junior forward Tre’ Taliaferro had four assists on the night while senior keeper Alexis Alonso Gaytan and junior midfielder Conner Hutson each contributed an assist.

Gaytan and fellow senior keeper Jesus Renk combined to post the 8-0 shutout. Next up is a two game series with Callaway.
