Norse Wrestlers Fall To Maconaquah

The Northfield wrestling team was defeated by Maconaquah Thursday night by a score of 32-37.  Pinning for the Norse were Tanner Chamberlain, Joseph Ross and Hunter Wells. Winning by tech-fall was Caleb Augustus while Dustin Lee, Jared Kirtlan and RJ Waldon won by decision.

Quote(s) by Coach __Gary Norman______:  The team wrestled well in spots tonight and rough in other spots against Maconaquah.  This was another tough loss for the varsity wrestlers.  Three of our four losses have been by 1 point, 4 points and 5 points.  That is a difference of just one person winning instead of losing.  The JV wrestlers came out more aggressive tonight but we still have a long way to go.

The JV lost by a score of 6-18.  Winning by pin for the Norse was Austin Kirtlan.
