#2 Rochester Shuts Out Southwood

The Southwood softball team ran in to a buzz saw Wednesday in the name of #2 ranked Rochester, falling to the Lady Zebras 14-0.

Rochester scored in all four innings they were at the plate.

The Lady Knights could only muster three hits while Rochester pounded out 13.

Leighnee Smith struck out four and allowed just three hits for Rochester.

For Southwood Jenny Bentley went 2 for 2 with two singles. Josie Grossnickle was 1 for 2 with a double.
