Norse Softball Tops Oak Hill

The Northfield softball team defeated Oak Hill 5-4 Tuesday to make their record 5-6 for the season.  Emily Shafer pitched 6 2/3 innings giving up 9 hit, striking out 7 and walking 1. Katelyn Shafer pitched 1/3 of an inning to record the save.  The Norse were lead at the plate by Caitlin Eltzroth who had a double and a triple with 2 RBI’s.   Emily Shafer, Kayla Unger, and Arie Kennedy each collected hits.
