March 4, 2012By Gary Andrews of Three Rivers Conference
After a dissapointing regular season the Rochester Zebras were making a run in the sectional, advancing to the championship game to face #14 Hebron.
Two offensive single digit quarters did the Zebras in, falling 56-41.
After a solid first quarter by the Zebras, Hebron started to flex their muscle.
Rochester trailed just 14-10 after one before Hebron would out score the Zebras 12-5 in the second quarter to take a 26-15 halftime lead.
For the second quarter in a row Hebron out scored Rochester 12-5 and took a commanding 38-20 lead over the Zebras with a quarter to go.
Rochester would win the fourth quarter 21-18, but the 18 point Hebron lead was to much to overcome as Rochester fell 56-41.
Leading Rochester was Jonathon O’Dell with 13 points. Aaron Stuart had 11, Luke Cannedy 8, Zac Schoen 5 and Seth Corn 4.
