How does mental/emotional illnesses impact our communites?

     For the next four weeks, Mrs.Gridly's Health classes are reseaching mental/emotional illnesses to learn how they impact our communities. Her Health classes are made up of all girls; the students have to create a digitial presentation with a group and a 3-5 paragraph paper individually. We are learning about mental/emtional illnesses because we need to know how they affect families, communities an our world since they are becoming more common.

     Using books and the internet, the groups are to pick one illness; no group can have the same illness. With only 5 days to reseach the girls have to do one digital presentation with each other and a reseach paper by theirselfs. Both projects must inculde:

-definition/description

-causes

-symptoms

-treatments

-rates

-and other facts needed to understand the disorder

     By finding this information the girls of Mrs.Gridly's Health classes will learn about different mental/emtional disorders and how they affect our communities.
