Home » General NewsElection Day!October 30, 2012 By Shyla Stump of Thomas Nelson HSELECTION DAY Election Day, it’s the first Tuesday of November and one of the most important days of the year. It’s the day when every American, eighteen and over, votes to decide the public officials in their county, state, and nation. The most talked about, as always, is the presidential election. Which do you choose, Obama or Romney? Both parties have their fair share of hate and support, but it all comes down to the votes put in. Mitt Romney plans to decrease the rise prices and falling income of the middle class, bring back prosperity, and create 12 million jobs just within his first term. Romney has a five point plan that will help achieve energy independence, trade that will work for America, provide Americans with the skills to succeed, cut the size of the government, reduce national debt, and promote small businesses. President Barack Obama’s plan for America, on the other hand, has a long-term economic plan to invest in things like education, small businesses, clean energy, and tax cuts for companies that will bring back jobs for the United States. The fate of our country for the next 4 years is in the hands of the people of America. Who will you choose to lead our country?
