TNHS vs. Larue County

September 5, 2012
Thomas Nelson HS

Thomas Nelson had their first football game, August 27th against Larue County. It was a well fought battle from both sides of the ball throughout the entire match, in which Thomas Nelson pulled out the victory, with a 26-14 win. Drew Hurst scored the first ever touchdown for Thomas Nelson, along with two others, giving him the first ever hatrick in Thomas Nelson history. "I couldn't of done it without the excellent blocking from the (offensive) line." says running back Drew Hurst.

Along with Drew Hurst's three touchdowns, Austin Hughes also scored, off a 26 yard run. "It was a great team effort and a perfect way to start off the Thomas Nelson football tradition!" says lineman Luke Cecil. Hopefully, the team keeps this motivation and continues to move forward! Come out and support the Generals Freshman team at their game tomorrow, at Thomas Nelson. YES!
