The Woodlands Quarterback Club hosted their Challenger Camp last week, hosting several special needs children who took part in football drills and rubbed elbows with the Highlander football team.
The event last Saturday was a game-day experience as the band and cheerleaders also participated in the camp.
"I think that our football players get as much out of this event as the kids do," QB Club rep Pam Mt. Joy said. "Each senior had a special buddy who they taught to do football specific drills. These special players had smiles bigger than Texas all day. The build up was great and they got to run through the Highlander inflatable helmet and hit the blocking bags as well."
