Home » Football NewsMorrow Alum Forrest Hill starting for Auburn UniversityApril 16, 2012 By Anthony McKissic Sr. of The Gold PrintIt has been a long hard road for Forrest Hill. From going 0-10 his senior season at Morrow High School to having to walk on to the football team at Auburn University. Hill turned down a full ride scholarship to Morgan State University to walk out for a chance at playing for Auburn. His decision paid dividends immediately. His for season at Auburn his team won the National Championship and he got 3 rings. Of course Cam Newton had a lot to do with that but it was still exciting for him. The next season Hill’s team won the Chick F La bowl in Atlanta, Ga. Although his resume continuously improved there was still one thing missing, a major thing, playing time. Hill got just about as much playing time as you and I. In last weekend’s spring ball game Hill was the starting deep snapper. It was like a dream come true for hill and his parents. Hard work pays off. Morrow High is proud to call Forrest Hill an alum. ONCE A MUSTANG, ALWAYS A MUSTANG!!!
