Cougars get split over the weekend . . . down Norwood, but fall at Lebanon

Edgewood 58, Norwood 50

The Cougars hit 16-of-18 attempts from the free-throwl line in a Fort Ancient Valley Conference Scarlet Division win over the Indians on Friday, Jan. 9.  Xavier Fugate was perfect on 10 tries from the line, and finished with a game high 25 points for Edgewood (7-2, 3-1).  Kody McCall added 12 points, and Josh Mueller had nine.

Lebanon 62, Edgewood 54

Xavier Fugate scored 12 of his game-high 25 points in the first quarter Saturday, Jan. 10, but the host Warriors rallied for the win.  Kody McCall added 11 points for Edgewood, which slipped to 7-3.
