Adrian girls soccer team falls to Monroe

The Adrian High School girls soccer team was blanked by Monroe in a Southeastern Conference contest on Thursday.

The visiting Trojans connected on more than half of their shots as they rolled to an 8-0 win over Adrian. Monroe had a 14-6 shot advantage.

"They had a lot of opportunistic goals go in," Adrian coach Ted Hanosh said. "It wasn't our usual stuff tonight."

Adrian drops to 8-5-1 (1-2-1 SEC).
