Marland Lowe LEAVES HOUSTON HOOPS
In a move sure to send shock waves and certain player movement through the Houston grassroots basketball scene, Marlon Lowe head coach of the prestigious 17U Houston Hoops basketball team has left the program. Reasons for leaving depend on who you speak with but apparently there was a big enough rift for him to walk away from a marquee team with all americans at the skill positions including the top point guard in the 2012 class in LJ Rose and top five combo guard Rasheed Sulaimon who is being heavily recruited by Duke University. Inquiring minds want to know now who or which area superstars will be leaving with him or joining him from other programs? Some speculate J Michael Reese, the aforementioned Rose and Sulaimon or any combination of the three amongst other high profile area talent will be joining the TEXAS P.R.O.'S. There is a strong possibility he will be tapping into the rich sophomore (2013) class as well. Expect him to all ready have a sneaker deal already lined up considering the division one pedigree of the talent base he is accustomed to having. This is monster news especially if he intends to put together a staff that trickles down to the youth levels as well.
