Chargers Explode For Big Win As They Play On in The NJCAA World Series!

The Columbia State Chargers faced a two-and-out possibility Sunday in the 57th NJCAA World Series as they took on Johnson County Community College of Kansas in the days first elimination game.
The Chargers took care of business and will play on as they defeat Johnson County 12-2 in five innings.
CSCC got the offense going in the second as they send 14 batters to the plate. The Chargers trailed 2-0 on a homer by John Fairchild, but that would be all JC would get as hurler Tyler Stewart takes the win.
Leadoff batter Sam Few set the tone with a solo HR to right cutting the lead to 2-1. An error on Desi Ammons grounder and a walk to Josh Wilson has CSCC runners at 1st & 2nd with NO outs.
A bad throw from the JC catcher to 2B allows runner to go to third...Wilson stills second. Paul Kirby singles to right driving in a run (Ammons) for Columbia St. 2-2 game...runners at 1st and 3rd, still no outs.
Riley Delgado batting works a 3-2 count and connects on a dart to left field...Josh Wilson scores...3-2 CSCC. Runners at 2nd and 3rd for Patterson.
Caleb Patterson works another 3-2 count as he battles and taps a single into left center scoring two (Kirby&Delgado) ITS 5-2 Chargers.
With 1 out CSCC's Tyler Fullerton smashes a run-scoring triple over the center fielders head scoring Patterson. 6-2 Chargers as CSCC continues to bat in the second.
Ronny Jebavy makes contact and grounds out to short, but the out scores Fullerton and it's 7-2 Chargers in elimination game #1. Sam Few up for the second time, walks with 2 outs.
The Chargers' bats continued to make noise. Ammons doubles down the right field line moving Few to third base. As CSCC bats around, Wilson is the 12th batter at plate. Wilson singles to right scoring Few from 3B 8-2 Chargers as Kirby steps in again, the13th batter.
Paul Kirby singles (3-3, 3RBIs) up the middle scoring a run (Ammons) and it's 9-2 Chargers...Inning ends on Kirby attempt to swipe second.
Columbia State sends 14 batters to the plate in the second, scoring 9 runs to take a commanding lead 9-2 over JohnsonCo. Kansas.
CSCC pitcher Tyler Stewart (2R,4H, 4SO) continued to keep the Johnson County hitters at bay through 4 innings.
In the fifth Josh Wilson (2-2) gets on and is driven in by the hot Charger of the day Paul Kirby on his third hit of the day, a double (3-3, 3RBIs) and CSCC led 10-2 and were maybe thinking about ending this game in the fifth.
Wes Neiderland (1-2,1 RBI) doubles scoring Kirby and CSCC is up 11-2 and looking to end game here.
Tyler Fullerton steps in and draws a walk...runners now at 1st and 3rd. Neiderland is winning run at 3B as Jabavy bats with 2 outs.
