Former Marshall Co. Tiger Head Football Coach To Tell All!

The former Marshall County Tiger head football coach who found himself and two assistants without a job about two weeks ago will tell all Monday morning.

Tom Turchetta told TSN he will be live on WAXO radio in Lewisburg at 7:00am. TSNSports will carry the press conference.

Turchetta said “the truth needs to be told.” He said, ” the people of Marshall County should hear the truth about what happened”

The former coach and assistants Lance Evans and Alex Melton were released by Marshall County Director of Schools Jackie Abernathy. Our contracts were not renewed, Turchetta said,

“I was called into the superintendent’s office and told my contract would not be renewed.”  “I asked why and was told to read the letter (of dismissal). The letter was very ambiguous and very noncommittal, and I never got a definitive answer from the superintendent.”

Saturday Turchetta told TSN he has still not been given a reason for the action, but has a lot to tell the residents of Marshall County.
