CSCC led 4-0 going into the bottom of the fifth inning when the Bucks struck for four runs highlighted by the tenth homer by Tyler Murphy, a three-run shot to left to tie the game. Columbia State's Jordan Parris scored on a third strike wild pitch to Derrick Armstrong giving CSCC the lead 5-4 in the sixth. CSCC's DH Lucas Pippenger (3-3) in the final three innings singled to open to the seventh. His hit was followed by a two-run shot to deep center off the bat of "The Diff" TJ Diffenderfer, his first home run of the season giving Columbia State a 7-4 advantage. As heavy rains moved in CSCC hurler Chris Orphanos struck out the final two batters to give Columbia State their tenth straight TCCAA win, moving them to 10-0 and a two game lead over Walters State. The Generals (8-3)beat the Senators (9-2) in their Second game Saturday 12-10 after the Senators took game one 4-2. Orphanos in relief of starter Logan Gray picked up the win. Jacobs Honea the loss for the Bucks. Both teams will play a doubleheader Sunday starting at noon.
