Poor conditions at St. Cloud Technical High School’s Clark Field have forced officials to shutdown operations at the field for the immediate future, according Tiger’s head coach Gregg Martig.
The field, which was built in 1942 as a government-sponsored WPA project, has been home to Tech Tiger football teams that have won or shared eight Central Lakes Conference titles since 1982.
The Tigers were set to play their first home game at the stadium Friday. Future home games are expected to be played at St. Cloud State University, according the Martig.
